"...Our beloved previous Associate Pastor father David Ayotte who moved to St. Monica Parish in July, begin there his new assignment on July 1st at Saint Monica's and he's been doing very well. He’s been received and he is such a gift to the community as he has been a gift here. But there has been some news that he is under the guidance and under the care of healthcare professionals. I think a team of three doctors who are working with him. Last week, he just received the news. I guess maybe 2 weeks ago now, he received the news that he does have stage 4 pancreatic cancer and it spread to his liver. Understandably, we’re praying for him as a community. He's receiving the best treatment he can. He actually has a chance to spend the week of Thanksgiving with his family with his mom and his sister. And so he's been taking a lot of that time to be with family and loved ones. We assure him of our prayers and I thank you for your prayers, for your support, and your encouragement. We trust our brother or father Dave Ayotte into the loving hands of Our Blessed Mother, and we know that she continues to journey with us. Some of you have reached out and asked if is possible, if he is open to receiving communications, or if you can send a card. The answer is yes... [A CaringBridge Site was created for Fr. Dave. It’s a caring social network to help people stay connected with family and friends during a health event. Visit Fr. Dave’s site often to stay updated and share messages of encouragement and compassion.
