Archbishop Jose H. Gomez has declared a Jubilee Year in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles beginning September 11, 2021 and concluding September 10, 2022 on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of Mission San Gabriel Archangel by St. Junipero Serra. The aim of this “Forward in Mission” Jubilee will be to revive the life of Faith in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles through the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the raising up of a new generation of missionary disciples. The Together in Mission 2021 “Forward with Faith” Annual Appeal is June 12-13, 2021. Please make a special effort to attend mass, virtually or in-person, so we can pray and reflect on how we can continue to help our struggling parishes and schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. One in EVERY 5 parishes needs financial assistance and 1 in every 4 Catholic schools needs critical funds to keep their doors open.
