We are called in God’s House. His Dwelling Place in Saint John Eudes is our very heart. We come with our stories — our history, our life, our hopes and dreams for our future. And it is in God’s House — where Christ rests in His dwelling place at St. John Eudes Parish — where all are welcome and the doors are wide open. The Spirit, the Life, and the Heart of St. John Eudes are where springs of living water flow. When the woman at the well (John 7) encounters Christ asking for a drink of water, it was not an accident. Christ revealed the mystery of Himself. And so, arise! Awake from our slumber and live in the fullness of who we are! By walking in His Love —as he FIRST loved us— to journey with him, to exude the fragrance of Christ, he will satisfy our thirsts for living water. When the heart is in the home, then the foundation of the home is solid. The Flame of Love will stand the test of time, the waves and the storms and the burning within our hearts will be the beacon of light for the healing and restoring of the world.
Do we think it is an accident that we are here in this season, this circumstance in our lives? Rise up and live our call this lenten season, fasting from the demands of the world, praying for one another and consecrating ourselves to the intimacy of God, and acting out of charity and love to restore humanity. What am I doing to transform my life today for the sake of the world?
We enter into the most sacred moment of our journey of faith. The Passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. To resound the cry of Christ for His thirst for the Love of His Father, we too cry out our longing for Abba.
If you only the gift of God. If you only know who you are to me. If you only know how much you mean to me. I am here. It’s not by chance. "We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19
May is the month of Mary as we celebrate our multicultural Church, during Carnival, we’re not just crowning Mary, she is the model for the bride of Christ. WE are all being crowned!
The Father seeks those who worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Are we a living indwelling of the Holy Spirit? Are our hearts, minds, and beings, a dwelling place of God where His Mystery comes alive and His Peace reigns? God restores His House of Faith “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
